UNDERSTANDING AVOIDS OFFENSES - STORY

UNDERSTANDING AVOIDS OFFENSES  - STORY

There was a woman.

One day, as she walked, she was surprised to find a man hoeing his garden, while sitting on a chair.

"What laziness !" the woman exclaimed.

After a while, as she carefully looked at the chair, she found lying by its side a pair of crutches.

She realized that the man who was hoeing the garden, was a cripple. Criticism immediately changed into admiration, and she praised the man who, despite his handicap, was so eager to work.

The woman learnt the lesson of her life, never to make snap judgments, never to jump to conclusions without first understanding the situation in which the other person was placed.

It is understanding that is needed.

Similarly relationship amongst devotees becomes ecstatic in the measure in which we understand other devotees' external problems and still how nicely they are trying to serve Krishna.
