RULES OF LIGHTING AN OIL LAMP IN PUJA ROOM & OTHER PLACES!

We light oil lamps in our house in different places including Puja room.

Lighting oil lamp drives negative elements and vibrations away from home and invite Lakshmi into our house.

Let us read some rules of lighting oil lamps:

(1) The best and recommended time for lighting oil lamp is:  Morning and Evening 5.30 to 6.00.

(2) If you light a SINGLE FACE LAMP,  keep it facing towards EAST direction.

(3) If you light multi faced lamp, keep the lighted face according to the following rules:

(i) East :  Will remove all the doshas given by the planets;

(ii) West : Will remove issues of loan, relatives and Shani dosha.

(iii) North :  Will remove blocks in getting married and adding education and wealth.

(iv) South :  This is inauspicious;  So, avoid South direction.

(4) Those who do not get child after marriage may donate new Oil lamps to the married women who are living with husband.

(5) If your lamp has five faces, lighting only one face is not recommended;  If you light two faces, it gives family integrity;  If lighted three faces, child birth can be achieved;  If lighted four faces, addition of wealth;  If five faces are lighted, it gives all auspiciousness.
