What are the benefits given by Camphor?

IMPORTANT:  

Camphor should not be taken by mouth that is toxic. However, using pure camphor in pujas gives the following benefits:

(1) Camphor burns completely without traces giving light energy.  This shows that if we lose our ego even without traces, we can realize the light of God.

(2) Camphor gives light burning itself denoting selflessness in devotion.

(3) Camphor has many medicinal properties such as antimicrobial, antiviral, anticoccidial, anti-nociceptive, anticancer and antitussive activities.
